MUKKOTI & KAJJAYAM

 MUKKOTI  & KAJJAYAM

A short Family Story, of group members interest.

MUKKOTI YEKADASI FALLS ON 30th December 2025. All of you are aware of its holistic nature and importance for the believers with faith in God.

Blessed are those who are born on MUKKOTI Day. OUR MOTHER is one of the blessed for having been born on that day. She was devotional throughout her life, right from her childhood. I have heard from her about her taking classes from a gentleman ( residing in the village named Jagatlamudi, about five miles from Tenali, and was a priest of the local Shiva Temple, and whose name I have forgotten). He used to frequent on alternate dates to coach our mother on the basics of devotion, importance of prayers and also initiated the practice of LALITHA SASRANAMA PRACTICE; besides teaching some devotional songs.

Our mother offering the prayers reciting OM a daily basis every day during the morning hours, while doing her activities of cooking and other household chores, without fail, and can recollect her tone and the devotion to prayers till today, still ringing in the ears. Some of us are fortunate to have not only heard the prayers, but also imbibed her prayer practices.

In particular, most of the women folks of the larger family had the inductive ability to pick up the devotional relics, including my wife. I should also say, all of us experienced the POWER and BLESSINGS of LALITHA AMMAVARU. Fortunately, our mother experienced the faith, both at her parent’s house (Kondamudis) and her in-laws house (Yellamrajus).

Our mother’s influence and her practices come into my mind, and was reminded of this information and hence the note of common interest to the group.

It is our mother’s practice to prepare specially, a dry fruit mixture with dry fruits to offer on MUKKOTI day, as Prasadam, and remember everyone eagerly awaiting the distribution, from her hands, making the occasion very special. I am at it, preparing the dry fruits mixture taking the help of my wife.

KHADA KANCHAKI, MANAM INTIKI.

Aura

A U R A As the title suggests, intend to write, my views, on the subject of Aura. It has been fascinating me for a while. The subject was just touched upon earlier in some of my Google Bloggs. The topic is difficult, not easy to deal with, nor well understood, and perhaps with barely any information and knowledge on it. All the same, venturing to vent out, with my scientific and religious background, with the earnest hope of drawing the attention of those interested to prioritize the study and studies on Auras and Aural investigations, benefiting mankind. Aura prevails and persists with all the forms of life, existing, thanks to Almighty, for believers. Aura surrounds, individuals, and individual living lives of humans, animals, inclusive of flying birds, sea borne animals, insects; and plants and plant life. Aura acts as a communicator for transference of useful information about the individual; as an example, let us consider a human being. The five basic elements, called ‘Pancha...

HINDU WORSHIP AND WISDOM

HINDU WORSHIP AND WISDOM   Hinduism engulfs ‘Hindu worship’, as one of the several Hindu practices. Worship of God, offering prayers, at home, and in Temples have been in vogue for ages past, and such practices have inculcated unity in the Hindus, wherever they may be. Such worship, helped the community to elevate themselves, both physically and mentally. Worship also provided a unifying force, for a form of orderliness in the prayers. Worship and prayers, got diversified with the passage of time, resulting in other forms of expressing devotion, like group singing, Nagara Sankeerthana, the evolution of discourses, pravachanas, a mix of dancing with singing, dancing with animals like oxen, and so on. Worship also provided other practices like involvement of animals like elephants, horses, camels, in pageantry; while monkeys and bears became a part of a form of puppetry; and so also the use of parrots and sparrows for trying once luck in predicting from astrological predetermi...
