Mana kopame mana shatruvu.
One’s anger is one’s enemy.
Anger makes one lose the sense of discretion. He or she forgets what they are saying in anger. Anger makes it difficult to resolve issues Anger also makes people lose their normal balance. Anger makes one so hot. When he or she cools down, he wouldn’t even think - “have I said this or that?”. So one should be able to keep their anger under control, otherwise it leads to difficulties in life. It should never be a habit in life. Anger is harmful to yourself and your soul. When one is angry the discretion of normal thinking is lost, at least temporarily. When anger continues it can lead to difficulties in relationships, and friendships.
Whatever has been said above is with respect to individuals. It can also harm the health. It can also put others around you in jeopardy even unintentionally. Anger should be short lived and should not be prolonged. It is good to divert yourself to contain the anger, and to stop you from reaching unnecessary levels.
In a larger context whole societies, and even nations behave in such a manner when untoward things and unexpected things which are detrimental happen. So, whether young or old whether nation is small or big, skirmishes start initially and which result in misunderstandings and magnify to be human wars. So, the proposition is not good for anybody. Anger can be used only to control to some extent if its purpose is for a good cause.
To end thana shanthame, thanaku Raksha.
Your calmness, is your protector.
