 VIRTUAL REALITY OF GOD

2. Our Second Experience

On the completion of our Amarnath Shrine visit, returned to Gulmarg's base camp. At this stage, we had the option of being with the group we started; or on our own, but at our own risk, since it was a disturbed and terrorist infested area at that time. I and my wife preferred the second option, since having gone to J&K decided in favor of visiting Srinagar and Saraswati Mata Temple of the place at the initiative of Adi Shankara, considered very sacred.

Embarking on this trip was not easy. We took a bus from Gulmarg on the descent to Srinagar via a place named Ananthnag.  At Ananthnag we were stopped for security reasons and had to stay overnight in a school. The next morning were allowed to proceed to Srinagar. We did some sightseeing at Srinagar. Later, hired an auto and proceeded to the foot of the hill on which Saraswathi Temple is located. To go up to the Shrine it is necessary to scale up more than 5000 steps. We were alone. Going up the steps. Could not spot a single sole on the ascent or descent. No security whatsoever. Purely with faith, reciting Shankara and Sarswathi names ascended all the steps with great difficulty.

On reaching the precincts of the temple got some relief, seeing two priests. We could offer the prayers to both Shankara and Saraswathi deities'. The feeling of fulfillment entered us. Imagine but for the Will of God we couldn't have ventured on this risky pilgrimage, the return to Jammu to visit Vaishnavdevi Temple. Thereafter, took the train on the return to Hyderabad via Delhi.

These are a few experiences of Virtual Reality in my view.

Aura

A U R A As the title suggests, intend to write, my views, on the subject of Aura. It has been fascinating me for a while. The subject was just touched upon earlier in some of my Google Bloggs. The topic is difficult, not easy to deal with, nor well understood, and perhaps with barely any information and knowledge on it. All the same, venturing to vent out, with my scientific and religious background, with the earnest hope of drawing the attention of those interested to prioritize the study and studies on Auras and Aural investigations, benefiting mankind. Aura prevails and persists with all the forms of life, existing, thanks to Almighty, for believers. Aura surrounds, individuals, and individual living lives of humans, animals, inclusive of flying birds, sea borne animals, insects; and plants and plant life. Aura acts as a communicator for transference of useful information about the individual; as an example, let us consider a human being. The five basic elements, called ‘Pancha...

HINDU WORSHIP AND WISDOM

HINDU WORSHIP AND WISDOM   Hinduism engulfs ‘Hindu worship’, as one of the several Hindu practices. Worship of God, offering prayers, at home, and in Temples have been in vogue for ages past, and such practices have inculcated unity in the Hindus, wherever they may be. Such worship, helped the community to elevate themselves, both physically and mentally. Worship also provided a unifying force, for a form of orderliness in the prayers. Worship and prayers, got diversified with the passage of time, resulting in other forms of expressing devotion, like group singing, Nagara Sankeerthana, the evolution of discourses, pravachanas, a mix of dancing with singing, dancing with animals like oxen, and so on. Worship also provided other practices like involvement of animals like elephants, horses, camels, in pageantry; while monkeys and bears became a part of a form of puppetry; and so also the use of parrots and sparrows for trying once luck in predicting from astrological predetermi...
