EXPLOIT AN UNTAPPED ENVIRONMENT FRIENDLY ENERGY SOURCE
General Introduction: The intent of this writing is to project about a NEW POSSIBLE SOURCE OF ENERGY that I have in mind. It has been lingering in my mind for quite some time. I am convinced about the possibility. It is environment friendly, because in a way it enhances and helps the functionality of already existing sources. To my knowledge, the source being suggested is hitherto has not been touched nor exploited. It is workable. Any new development, no doubt demands and requires investment for research and technological exploitation; based on the degree of exploitation. This brief on the proposed innovation should suffice to those looking for new avenues that are not only human friendly but also contribute to the improvement of existing sources already in wide use. This new source can ease specifically the transportation industry in its day to day use. It should be applicable to all forms of transportation and as well as all modes of transportation. This source can open a new area of scientific study and application.
I am quite old. I still have a thinking mind and active faculties. But on my own, I will not be able to take further the source that I am releasing through this writing. However, I will be available for discussions on the fruition of the new source of energy and its logical extension and exploitation. This release of information on the new source of energy is keeping the larger interests of science, engineering, and technology for humanity. I am convinced of its feasibility and use when developed. About the new source – The Historical Perspective The new source of energy proposed is based on the tapping of frictional energy in a constructive manner for useful purposes. The writer experimented in his own way of tapping what is being proposed on a minor scale successfully, and generated electrical energy and applied to glow electrical bulbs and LEDs. Based on such success he tried sounding a major electric car manufacturer once, but the response was lukewarm, and he did not pursue further. This happened a few years ago. He wanted to go about it and scale-up to the next level of trying to make a prototype. He was disheartened, at the lack of enthusiasm from the company. He was not in a position to pump his own funds for further development. With the result the ideas for development remained in an incubation stage and almost forgotten or given-up stage for quite some time. As such, he decided to reveal his mind in the larger interests of the utilization by enthusiastic people in an applicable manner at different scaling levels. This briefly is the historical perspective with respect to his own efforts. Believing pursuit is a necessity for scientific solution decided this projection, as all his earlier pursuits as a scientist in the era when he did not have the access to the present day computers and cell phones were quite successful, publishing extensively in different areas of interest in reputed scientific journals. The tapping of frictional energy is by no means is new. It has been drawing attention of the human mind for a long time. To quote a simple example even during the stone age of human habitation man generated heat and fire by rubbing wood, or better still by rubbing stones. In the two wheeler bicycle age we have the popular example of generating electrical power to glow the bulbs for lighting and to ride in darkness at nights; by the use of a small electrical system of generating the required energy due to the rubbing of a rotating wheel that is in constant touch of the front wheel of the bicycle while the rider is in motion and moving forward by peddling. These could generate enough energy to give visibility and brightness at night. Other systems of similar nature were also in vogue using larger wheels and labor force to light up for specific uses of smaller areas. Perhaps Google may give many more examples. Do not intend to elaborate on these and above examples are given to indicate the awareness of man to the generation of useful energy from the utilization of friction from time in memorial. About the new source of tapping frictional energy and its possibilities The new source being proposed is mainly based on the frictional energy faced due to the wind in the atmosphere and which cannot be avoided in all types of motion encountered from a still state to a dynamic moving state; and which is inevitable and unutilized. Tapping this source can help the generation of electrical energy successfully for constructive utilization of individual moving vehicles of transportation. The prospects of such utilization depend on the scale of tapping, as well as on the speed of the moving vehicle developed due to use of batteries in electric vehicles, or diesel, or petrol in cars, buses, others based on LNG, etc., and extending to even ocean liners. The opposing wind offering the friction to all forms of vehicular movements is an excellent source of the energy that is being proposed. It is trappable in a smaller way or a larger manner depending on the captive device developed for use. Such captive energy may be utilized to maintain the charging energy of existing batteries in all forms of moving vehicles; or to enhance the travelling distance limitations in electrical vehicles. Basic captivation devices of the opposing wind are feasible. Therefore, the increasing or decreasing numbers utilized for captivation change the efficiency of captivation. It is high time that this untapped wind energy is utilized for the movement of all forms of transportation developing the devices for captivation. The captivation of such an energy source is not difficult and is in reach calling for the required research and technology inputs for successful application and use. The writer of this blog is confident and hopes the suggestions made would make headway. The idea of wind energy is alluring as far as I am concerned and its dormancy takes a realistic reality soon.
