RATHA SAPTHAMI

RATHA SAPTHAMI Blog Six - Jan.25, 2026 - Sunday.  THE TITLE means, Ratha (Chariot), SAPTHAMI (Seventh Day - before Full-moon). This day comes in late January, or early February of every year of the English Calendar Year.  RATHA SAPTHAMI is considered by Indians as an auspicious day. Holistic. Treated as THE BIRTHDAY OF SUN. Celebrating by one and all alike. Paying respects to the LIGHT GIVER, brightening our lives, ensuring growth coupled with activity, health, and happiness, making life meaningful. For these reasons, Indians offer prayers to the generous giver of PRANA for all forms of life on Planet Earth; and as well ensuring the playing part of OUR PLANETARY SOLAR SYSTEM, solacing the reconning of Day and Night, and the TIME, governing all the forms of LIFE. It is this recognition by the Indians, of the bygone periods of Time, that made them think of SAPTHAMI denoting the number SEVEN as representing THE SEVEN HORSES RUNNING THE CHARIOT OF THE SUN GOD; and also symb...

MICROSURGERY IN DENTISTRY

MICROSURGERY     IN DENTISTRY   Blog Five. Dated 20 Jan 2026. THE advancements in medical sciences have successfully introduced and demonstrated the applicability of MICROSURGERY. This gradually changed the concepts of surgical intervention relatively easier. It further simplified the surgical procedures and processes. Also, the simplicity enabled the reduction in the time required for the patient to be at the hospital for surgery. The purpose of this writing is to instigate the extension of MICROSURGERY to DENTISTRY, as well. Feel this should be possible. Its introduction to dentistry could ease the treatment of patients.  Will try to project this visualization with reference to an example where microsurgery can be practically applicable.   FAMILY LIFESTYLE- Part Three - Kollimarlas’ Blog Three. My IN-LAWS go by the Family Sir-name of Kollimarla. Their predecessors hail from a small village going by that name, near to Ponnuru and Nidubrolu, in Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh, India. I have not been there, but passed the way of Ponnuru several times. Kollimarla Sambasiva Rao garu and Kollimarla Subhadramma garu are my in-laws. I have come to know them ever since their eldest daughter SATYAVATI was suggested for alliance. Our acquaintance and association began only with the alliance suggestion. It was mooted by my uncle Venuturmilli Subbarao garu. He knew them, Sambasiva Rao’s elder brother being the neighbor at Mayabazar,Bapatla. Thereafter, matters moved further with positivity and progressing towards our wedding in 1960. My in-laws had two more daughters going by the names of Parvata Vardhani and Rajyalakshmi, and a son Kollimarla Sri Ramachandra Murthy. After our marriage, naturally our closeness and understanding...

FAMILY LIFESTYLE - PART TWO - Kondamudis’ Blog Two. Dated January 8, 2026. Kondamudi Sreeramulu garu and Bhavanamma garu are our Maternal Grandparents. They are also from Tenali, Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh. My personal association and intimacy with both of them together was limited to my early years of childhood only. This is due to the sudden demise of the grandmother, when I was six to seven years old. All the same, I have a few recollections of her affection. My mother was the only daughter of them, and I being the eldest son, I should say got the best of love and affection, in addition to special attention from the grandmother. No doubt, I received special attention of all the Kondamudi family members as well. The Prize Dress of a black satin short and a matching white shirt that got stitched by my grandmother adored my wardrobe for a few years. My grandmother also gave me a silver dining plate and a small drinking glass. I still possess the Palakala Glass. She also gave...
